[Billing](https://knowledge.populateemr.com/billing?hsLang=en) September 9, 2026 # How to Draft and Submit a Claim Once a visit note is created, **"Finalize & Sign"** the note/**"Send for Billing Review"** (options are found at the bottom navigation panel) to create the charge. ![](https://usercontent.us.prod.clueso.io/0ee74cae-77f1-4ef9-a322-2a7d9ec1a279/d2c59373-2a05-43b6-8f6b-e551276d29c5/f0ec6447-0beb-4d68-b79d-b9222e75b415/images/d37512d7-3790-489f-bf54-aa58c679159a.png) Navigate to the **Charges** tab under Billing and locate the charge that was just created.
