How to Set Provider Availability for Location and Time
Setting provider availability clearly indicates when and each provider is available to take appointments. This is especially useful in larger practices with multiple providers and facilities.
1. Navigate to the calendar/Appointments tab in Populate.
2. From here, you can either click and drag directly on the calendar to select a time range, or click Create > Availability. There are three tabs under Create and within the Create dialog. Make sure you are in the Availability tab.
3. Select the correct provider, facility, date, and time. Checking off Repeats Every will allow you to create recurring availability.
4. Click the create button to create this availability.
You will see availability indicated on your calendar along the left side of each day. Hover over this vertical strip to see facility information. You may click on this strip to edit availability as well. Scroll to the end of this article for video and step by step guide.

Please note: if your Populate instance is integrated with ZocDoc, setting availability is required for accurate reflection of appointments.
