[Billing](https://knowledge.populateemr.com/billing?hsLang=en) October 6, 2026 # Where Can You a See Patient's Credit Balance? ## There are a few ways to check a patient’s credit balance within the system: directly from the Appointments side panel, Charges side-panel or from the Patient’s chart. Here are the 3 ways patient balance can be viewed in the system. **1\. From the Appointments Side-Panel** Navigate to the **Appointments** module and click on the desired appointment on the calendar. The appointment details side panel will appear.
