Why does the copay amount displayed in the system not match the actually collected copay?

The copay amount shown in the system may differ from the collected copay due to the following reasons:

1. Partial Copay Collection: If an initial partial copay was collected, the UI will display this amount.
2. EOB Adjustment: If a copay was collected initially but the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) returned a different amount, the UI will still show the initially collected amount.
3. EOB Returns $0 Copay: If a copay was initially collected but the EOB indicated a $0 copay, the UI will display the initial collection. However, in the allocation:
   • The copay amount will be shifted to the service bill if applicable.
   • If the service bill is also $0, the copay will be credited.
